Add a True Mercury Site

Add a True Mercury Site

1.0 Introduction

The site determines which hardware type will be used. Once a site has been added you will then be able to add a hub (or multiple hubs) to the site. Each hub supports up to 32 doors.

  1. A site may represent a business location, a floor of a building or any other grouping of hardware. The requirements for a site are as follows:
  2. Each site will need a minimum of one physical hub.
  3. All controllers on a site must be of the same hardware family, such as: Keri NXT or Keri NXT-MSC (mercury-powered).
  4. You will need to use multiple hubs if you wish to use different hardware/controller types (for example: Standard NXT AND NXT-Mercury-Powered (MSC) controllers.
  5. A site must have a world timezone assigned (all controllers on the site will use this world timezone).

The following steps explain how to add a site that will configured for True Mercury.
