Allegion FAQs

  1. Can I use my existing Wiegand cards? No. Mifare credentials are required due to the read/write requirement for No-Tour.
  2. Is a MT20W enrollment reader required? Yes. The enrollment reader is necessary to read/write the Mifare credentials.
  3. Is Wifi required? Yes. The enrollment reader only connects over Wifi.
  4. Is Internet connectivity required? Yes but only for the locations that have the MT20W enrollment reader.
  5. How many MT20W enrollment readers are supported? You can have as many enrollment readers as you need.
  6. How many cardholders are supported? That depends on the type of locks installed. The Control lock supports 500 credentials, while the NDE/LE support 5,000 credentials.
  7. When do I need to use the Keri mobile app? The Keri mobile app is used to initialize the lock and for retrieving audits or for any database updates to the lock. If you have the NDE or LE and Wifi enabled on those locks, then audit retrieval and database sync happen once per day automatically.
  8. What OS platforms are supported by the Keri Mobile app? Android Marshmallow 6.0 (minimum SDK 23) or newer or higher is the only supported OS currently. Planned support for iOS is scheduled.
