Fingerprint Readers are Going Offline | Ensure the RS-485 network topology is a daisy-chain connection and not a 'star' configuration. If
the line is long or there are a lot of devices are connected,
communication could be unstable. In that case termination should be
placed on one or both ends of the line. On the CNV-1000 module, the
terminating resistor is functional when the jumper is closed. For other
end of the line, if needed, the resistor should be placed manually at
the end of the line. |
