Borealis - Operator Audits
1.0 Introduction
The Operator Audits features allows you to find out what administrative actions have been
performed by a logged-in operator. For example, you can use it to find out which operator
added or deleted a controller, enrolled or de-activated a cardholder, added an additional
operator or unlocked a door from the user interface. You can filter the operator audits to
view all actions performed by a specific operator, over a specific time period, view all actions
of a specific category - such as related to cardholders or access rights, or all actions performed
on a specific hardware item - such as a controller.
Notes:
- The Operator Audits feature is controlled by a feature flag to allow us to evaluate and monitor the performance before a wider rollout. To request access to use this feature, please contact your integrator or regional sales manager.
- Operator Audit transactions count towards the system's transaction storage capacity.
A one million transaction capacity is included for each Borealis system, by default but can
be increased by purchasing additional storage blocks.
2.0 View All Actions for a Specific Operator
- From the main menu, click on Reports >> Operator Audits.

- Use the time stamp filter to select a time and date range.

- Use the Operator Name filter to select a specific operator.

- The screen will then display a list of all actions which have been performed by the selected operator during the selected time and date period.
- You can then filter the result using the Category or Action filters.

- The report will be generated and displayed on screen.

- Additionally, you can then generate a PDF or Excel spreadsheet of the current page or all pages by clicking on one of the highlighted icons.

- The report will be exported and saved on the client device or workstation.
