Once you have created an operator account you will be able to log into the Borealis web portal. You will also be able to create a new organization (which is an enterprise management tool facilitating customers with tax exemption) and the efficient setup and management of multiple systems. Using Borealis organizations is optional but is highly recommended for customers that install and maintain multiple systems.
2.0 Organization Notes
If your organization is tax-exempt you must submit supporting evidence to prove this when you submit your new organization application.
After setting up an organization, only the organization owner will be able to administer that organization (add new users, etc), and an organization can only have one owner.
When someone is added to a new organization, any new system that is setup by that user will use the price list that is assigned to the organization.
An organization can have an unlimited numbers of users but the users must be registered with a Borealis operator account before they can be added.
Not every Borealis customer will need to use organizations. If your company is not tax exempt and if it is just a standard, individual system you can create the new system without having an organization setup.
If your organization is tax exempt, it is also possible to create new systems which are NOT tax exempt. For example; an installation company installing a new system for their own personal use would not be tax exempt.
The organization owner can be a different person to the system owner. An organization will require an organization owner, but then you may have multiple systems (each with a different system owner).
3.0 Create a New Organization
Creating a new organization is a very simple process and this process needs to be completed only once. An organization can only be created once you have registered a Borealis operator account.
An organization can be created immediately after the initial operator account registration approval. All future systems can then be created by an organization user.
Enter your registered e-mail address (user name and password) and click the LOGIN button.
Click Organizations (listed on the left).
The Organizations screen will appear.
Click the CREATE button located on the right.
Enter a name for your new organization.
Enter a contact name for the organization.

Return to the organization screen and you will see that the new organization is pending.
IMPORTANT NOTE:DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CREATE A SYSTEM UNTIL THE ORGANIZATION IS APPROVED! FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN INCORRECT SUBSCRIPTION PRICING FOR 1 YEAR
After the organization information has been submitted it will take up to 1 business day for the review process to be complete.
Once the organization has been approved, the owner of the organization will then be able to edit and add users to the organization.
You will also then be able to create a new system once the organization has been approved.
4.0 Add Organization Users
Once an organization is setup and approved, new users can be added. It is recommended that operator accounts are created for all members of the organization that will eventually be added to the new systems that will be brought online.
IMPORTANT NOTES: - It is recommended that user accounts are created for all members of the organization that will eventually be added to the new systems. - The new operator's e-mail address must already be registered with Borealis before it can be added as a new organization user. - When a new organization user is added they will not be automatically added to any of the organization's systems. The user will need to be added as a new operator for each system that they will require access.
Here are the steps to add an additional user to an organization:
Go to keri.aetheros.net.
Sign in with the registered user name and password of the organization owner.
From the main menu on the left, click Organizations.
Click on the Organization name.
Click the ADD USER button on the right of the screen.
Enter the registered e-mail address for the new user.
Click Save.
You will see a notification that the new user has been successfully added.
