Borealis Release Notes - February 2026

The following lists the updates which have been included in the February 2026 Borealis release.

New Features

Major Revision Update to the User Interface

The February 2026 release automatically updates all Borealis Systems to the latest major revision of the user interface. The updated user interface offers better tools for improved productivity, reliability and performance, improved user experience and support for the latest frameworks and AI-enabled workflows- all helping to keep your Borealis system secure, easy-to-use and with more frequent roll-out of new features.

AI-Driven Answer Bot

Borealis now has a built-in Answer Bot that quickly answers your Borealis-related questions using the content from the Borealis knowledge base: borealis.kerisys.com

At the prompt, type in a question related to setting up, configuring and using Borealis. You will either receive step-by-step instructions or you will be guided to the relevant documentation on the knowledge base.

Log into Borealis (keri.aetheros.net) and click the icon in the lower-right to open the help widget.




Bug Fixes

  1. Corrected a display issue where the days of the week were listed alphabetically in the Site Calendar event repeat options. They are now listed sequentially.
  2. Corrected an issue with Site Calendar when certain changes made to repeating event types were not applied correctly to all events in the series. Corrected a display issue when editing holidays. The end date field was not displayed correctly in browsers using non-US language settings and the (mm/dd/yyyy) date format.
  3. Increased the width of the Manage Systems search field to accommodate long system names.
  4. Corrected an issue where an operator could not be assigned read-only access to hardware outputs.
  5. Corrected an issue where an operator could not be assigned read-only access to controllers.
  6. Identified and corrected an issue where a credit card would not save correctly if the card was used and added by an owner of multiple systems.
