Edit Confluence Access Rights
Certain changes to access rights will be updated simply by placing the No Tour credential onto the MT20W reader, whereas other changes will result in a change to the database and therefore a database download will be required for each locks that are affected.
Here is a list of common administrative changes that are made to access rights and whether on not the change requires a database download (lock update).
When an administrative change requires a database download, the locks can be updated in one of three different methods:
Using mobile app.
If the lock has Wi-Fi, it can be scheduled for automatic updates.
Linking the lock to a Gateway. Update can be initiated directly from the web portal.
