Edit Confluence Access Rights

Edit Confluence Access Rights

Certain changes to access rights will be updated simply by placing the No Tour credential onto the MT20W reader, whereas other changes will result in a change to the database and therefore a database download will be required for each locks that are affected.

Here is a list of common administrative changes that are made to access rights and whether on not the change requires a database download (lock update).

When an administrative change requires a database download, the locks can be updated in one of three different methods:
  1. Using mobile app.
  2. If the lock has Wi-Fi, it can be scheduled for automatic updates.
  3. Linking the lock to a Gateway. Update can be initiated directly from the web portal.
