Hub Power-Down Instructions

If a hub ever needs to be down-powered. For example; if being moved to a different physical location or if instructed to do so by tech support, please follow these instructions:

1. Apply a short press of the power button - do not hold the power button down.
   
   
   
   
2. Monitor the LED on the power button.
   
3. Wait for the LED on the power button to turn off.
   
4. When the LED is off the hub is shut down.
   
   

A short press of the power button will then turn the hub back on, as evidenced by the LED turning on. 

Notes
- Using the power button as described above does a safe shutdown and properly stops the services.
- Keri also recommends the use of a UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) to ensure the hub remains online if there is a power-outage on site.
