Introduction
This quick start guide walks you through the steps to take to get your Intelliprox Blue system up and running for the first time.
Factory Reset
Before connecting to the controller for the first time, you will need to perform a factory reset:
1. Ensure the controller is down-powered.
2. Verify that a jumper is across both pins of P2.
3. Hold down the orange reset button (K2) as you apply the power.
4. Continue to hold down the K2 button for 20 seconds.
5. You will notice the green DS1 LED go off then on.
6. Release your finger from the K2 button. The DS4 and DS5 LEDs next to the reader port will come on.
7. The controller is now reset and ready to setup.
Install the Intelliprox Blue App (iOS and Android)
1. Search for 'Intelliprox Blue' and download the Keri Systems Intelliprox Blue app.
2. Tap the green INSTALL button.
3. The app will download and install on your device.
4. An Intelliprox Blue icon will be on your home screen.
5. The app is now installed and ready to use.
Hardware Connection
1. Factory reset the Intelliprox Blue.
2. Open the Intelliprox Blue app.
3. Log into the app (the default user name is 'admin' and the default password is 'pass').
4. Once logged-in, you will see the home screen.
5. Tap the Hardware Setup Icon.
6. Tap the “Connect” button or the device name.
7. If you are connecting to the unit for the first time, you will be prompted to pair with the device. The default password for initial pairing is '123456'. Enter this code when prompted, then press OK.
Change Device Name or Pairing Password
If setting up multiple controllers you should change the device pairing password prior to configuring the controller.
1. Connect to the Intelliprox Blue.
2. Go to Device Info >> change the device name or pairing password, then save.
3. Go to your Bluetooth network settings.
4. Review your list of paired devices.
5. Select to 'Unpair or 'Forget' the connection to the unit.
6. Search for the Intelliprox unit using the app.
7. Connect to the unit and pair with it again using the new password or device name.
Cardholder Enrollment Via the App
1. Tap the Cardholders icon on the home screen.
2. Tap the add button.
3. Enter the cardholder’s name.
4. Enter the card number (printed on the card), or press the + to then presentation enroll the card at the reader.
Enrollment Via the Controller
You can also enroll cardholders at the controller. This also offers you a ‘block enrollment’ option. For further details, please refer to the Intelliprox Blue Full Reference Manual (P/N: 02363-001). Credentials added via the controller are automatically assigned total access (access 24/7 at the door).
Door Settings
Tap the device name when connecting to the controller you will then see the door settings screen. On this screen you can adjust various door proper-ties or you can unlock the door from the app. You can change settings such as setting an auto-un-lock/lock schedule to the door, adjusting the unlock time or held-open time or enabling Anti-passback.
