NXT-MSC Controller - Rebuild Daylight Savings (DST)

The following steps explain how you can rebuild the Daylight Savings rules for the NXT-MSC controller.

Handles these scenarios:

a) You do not have any DST rules, it will add 20 for you
b) You have DST rules, but some of them are for past years.  It will update the rules to this year plus 20 (so for 2020 to 2039 if today)
c) You have 20 rules but someone edited them in the past and put in weird dates/times.  It will update those as well


Instructions

  • In Doors.NET, go to Setup >> Hardware Setup >> All.
  • Select the first controller that you wish to modify.
  • Ensure Advanced View is enabled.



  • Scroll down to the World Timezone setting.
  • Click the down arrow and then click OK for the exiting timezone.



  • You will then be at the Daylight Savings (Collection) settings - so click on the 
    3 dots, as highlighted.



  • Hold down the ALT key and click OK, you will see the following prompt:



  • Click OK and the Daylight Savings settings will be recreated.
  • Save the controller properties.
  • Finally, right-click the controller and select Reset >> Memory.
