Borealis Single Active Credential Option
1.0 Introduction
Borealis has a system wide setting that allows you to enforce just one single active credential for all cardholders across your entire system. This will ensure that all cardholders only have one active credential at any given time.
Note: To enable this feature all cardholders in the system must already be assigned just one active credential.
2.0 Enable Single Active Credentials
- From the Borealis user interface click on the System Settings menu option.

- The System Settings screen will appear.
- At the top of the screen in the Cardholder Settings set One Active Credential per Cardholder to Enable.
- Click on the SAVE button.
You will see a notification at the top of the screen if there are credentials which are already assigned more than one active credential. If so these cardholder records will need to be edited so that each cardholder only has one active credential. You will then be able to save and activate this option. From then on cardholder will only be able to have one active credential.
