Auto Unlock Time Schedules

1.0 Introduction

Auto-Unlock Time Schedules (AUL) allow you to use a time schedule to automatically configure a door to unlock and re-lock at certain times of the day. The door will unlock at the start time of a schedule and will re-lock at the stop time of the schedule. Time schedules can be configured with multiple start and stop times - so that the door will unlock and relock multiple times throughout the day.

2.0 Assign an Auto Unlock Schedule

  1. From within Borealis, go to Hardware >> Readers. A list of all readers on the system will be displayed.



  2. Place a checkmark against the reader you wish to edit.



  3. Locate the Actions drop-down list on the far right side of the screen.
  4. From the drop-down list, select Edit.



  5. The reader properties window will appear.
  6. Locate the Auto Unlock Schedule field and select a schedule to assign to the reader.



  7. Save the reader settings.
  8. The reader will now unlock as per the start time defined for the schedule and the reader will re-lock following the schedule's stop time(s).
