How Do I Migrate Doors.NET to a Different PC?
Migrating the Doors.NET system requires you to make a backup of the current database and then transfer the backup file onto a memory stick or external drive. Doors.NET must then be installed on the new PC and the installation will install a blank database. This blank database must then be deleted and then replaced with the backup you have on the memory stick/external drive. Once the database backup has been restored you will need to contact Keri Systems' sales team who will increase the activation count on your license so that it can be re-used on the new PC. For full system migration instructions, refer to the following document:

SQL Did Not Install When Doors.NET Was Installed
The most likely reason why SQL Express would not install when Doors.NET was installed is because Windows did not have all the latest Windows Updates. You should search for 'Updates' via the Windows search field, install all required Windows updates. Once the updates have installed, reboot the host PC and then install SQL Express manually.
When install SQL manually it is important to name the instance ECLIPSE and authentication must be set to mixed mode. The 'sa' password must also be entered exactly as stated in the following document. If the site/facility has an IT department then they should perform this task.
